Discovery Of The Week
DIG THIS: Since 1951 rancher Waldo Wilcox, 74, had kept most outsiders from his 4,200 acres in a rugged part of eastern Utah. So it was only last week that the public saw, for the first time, his pristine secret: the ruins of an ancient (circa A.D. 900) Fremont Indian civilization. Among the well-preserved treasures are stone houses, arrowheads, pottery and rock-wall artwork.
