Only body which had thumbed down the World Council, the Southern Baptist Convention, was expected to reconsider at its next meeting.

The Council last week announced receipt of a notable gift: Christendom, an able theological quarterly, circulation 2,500, handed over debt-free by its publishers (Willett, Clark & Co.) to become the U.S. organ of the World Council of Churches.
