Last week Dr. Josef Tavs, the No. 2 Austrian Nazi, could not resist boasting to the correspondent of a Czechoslovak newspaper that he and Captain Josef Leopold, the No. 1 Austrian Nazi, were openly doing Nazi business from an office in the heart of Vienna. When Chancellor Schuschnigg read this in the papers he regretfully parted, with his life insurance, jailed Dr. Tavs.
