Two Boys
In Bombay last week two mischievous small boys got in trouble with a shopkeeper. Some said the boys were Hindu, the shopkeeper Mohammedan, some said it was the other way around. One thing was certain. Race rioting flared through the city like a prairie fire, lasted three days. Whole blocks were burned, 30 people were killed, over 600 wounded. Police were helpless. Eventually a battalion of the Royal Irish Fusileers went into action.
