Last week Grigsby-Grunow planned to absorb cash-poor Majestic Household Utilities, to sell a $5,000,000 bond issue. Majestic's creditors will be called upon to take $2,000,000 worth of the bonds.

Cans Abroad. Last year Continental Can Co., Inc., second biggest in the U. S., bought a minority interest in Metal Box & Printing Industries, Ltd., biggest in Britain. Last week Continental Can again expanded abroad, bought control of Compagnie Franco-Continentale de Boites Metalliques, one of the leading can companies in France.
