96th Tanker
On each of the seven seas, tankers of Standard Oil of New York meet tankers of Royal Dutch-Shell Oil, bow and do not speak. Last week, Standard Oil of New Jersey reminded the two great rivals that neither has the world's largest tank fleet. The Chester O. Swain, acquired last week and named for a director of the New Jersey Standard, is the company's 96th tanker, the 40th operated under the U. S. flag.
