"Good Security"

The liquor taxes of Colombia, like those of Panama (see above), have been pledged along with other taxes to repay $31,665,500 lent from the Liquor Prohibiting U. S. Therefore U. S. investors were vexed, last week, with Colombians who inaugurated a regime of partial prohibition.

However, although liquorish Colombian revenues have been curtailed, the non-liquorish revenues pledged to repay the loan in question still offer "good security."
