The Senate Week
Work Done. Last week, the U. S. Senators :
P: Sat through an all-night filibuster on the Boulder Dam bill; laid it over as first unfinished business of the Senate next session (see below).
P:Passed a resolution instructing the Secretary of the Interior to have the Boulder Dam project surveyed anew and report next autumn; sent the resolution to the House.
P: Passed a resolution instructing the Senate's campaign funds investigating committee to review the handling of Cuban sugar by the U. S. Food Administrator (now Candidate Hoover) during the War.
P:Adjourned sine die (see col. 2).
