THE CABINET

Reports from Washington had it that the names of F. Trubee Davison, Chairman of the National Crime Commission and Harold H. Emmons of Detroit, were being considered for appointment, one as Assistant Secretary of War for Air, the other as Under Secretary of Commerce for Air--two of the new jobs created by recent legislation in accordance with the recommendations of the Morrow Air Board last December.
