Bad Britons
Russia The Moscow Izvestia, which--like the Moscow Pravda--is a great organ of the Bolshevik autocrats, printed a tirade against Britain, charging that unscrupulous country with organizing an anti-Bolshevik League of Goverments in Europe. The article, signed by Editor Stocklov, said:
"The English Conservative Government is agitating against the Soviet Government whenever it can. England has succeeded in uniting the Governments of Rumania, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia into a Balkan union against Bolshevism. A few months ago these countries were deadly enemies; today they are close friends. This is England's work.
"England also is endeavoring to unite Finland, Esthonia and Latvia into a Baltic league, which will have Sweden's support. England also has succeeded in promoting friendship between Czechoslovakia, Rumania and Poland. It is easy to see that England is preparing a widespread offensive against the Soviet Government.
"England's unending net of intrigues has suddenly ended with the Albanian scandal. The Soviet Ambassador has been asked to leave Albania. ..."
