At Philadelphia, the Penn relays and the following college championships were determined:
Half-mile: Won by U. of Penn. (Hill, Martin, Keogh, Wolf) ; Occidental, second; U. of Chicago, third.
Mile: Won by U. of Va. (Castleman, Irvine, Talbot, Bohannon); Yale, second; Holy Cross, third.
Twomile: Won by Boston (McKillop, Mahoney, Welch, Cavanaugh) ; Georgetown, second; Cambridge (England), third.
Fourmile: Won by Harvard ( Watters, McCutcheon, Chapin, Tibbetts) ; Columbia, second; Cornell, third.
The triumph of Boston College was the afternoon's sensation. Its four established a world's record, 7 min., sec.
