Revolutionary Rumblings

The air was charged with thunder. It was rumored in London, Paris, Rome that a coup d'etat had been effected in Greece by a group of revolutionaries, aiming to set up a Republic. For two days the press of the world referred to activities of General Pangalos (former Commander-in-Chief of the Greek Army in Thrace) and Admiral Hadjkyriakos, who were reported to be the strong men mysteriously directing the movement.
