Garden Party

The King and Queen gave a garden party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, London. These parties are celebrated for their democratic atmosphere. It was noticed that General and Mrs. Bramwell Booth, of the Salvation Army, were present; also bishops; also Cabinet ministers, Indian princes, dukes, journalists, lesser peers, professors.
