Sheer Bunkum
According to the Chicago Tribune, the Austrian Government plans to hand over its railway (now operating at a loss of $2,000,000 monthly) to a British concern for a long period.
The Chicagoan vaporings assert that " the British syndicate, which comprises a dozen big banks and shipping companies, proposes to reconstruct the railroads in Austria, Hungary, Czecho-Slovakia, Poland, Rumania, Yugo-Slavia, and possibly also Italy and Germany, and eventually Russia, in one vast private undertaking."
