The White Army
General Wrangel, leader of the White Army, now residing in Yugoslavia, is reported to be preparing an offensive on the Bolsheviki. General Shatilov, his chief of staff, left for
Paris to rally the Tsarist adherents to the old Russian flag under a common leader.
Said General Wrangel: " I have just visited my army units in the territories of Serbia, and I am glad to state that in spite of all privations their spirit is firm. I was questioned everywhere as to whether it was true that a new rally would take place around our former Commander-in-Chief, the Grand Duke Nikolay Nikolaievich. Knowing how popular is his name, I would be glad to lead the army after him.''
