Bears

A very small portion of the West met most of the East in the Intercollegiate Track Championship and won with points to spare. For the third successive year the University of California took the track title of the United States.

The California Bears came East with 13 men. They scored 39 1/2 points. Princeton was second with 33; Yale third with 23. Neufeldt, of California, was the featured individual of the meet with first place in the discus, second in the javelin and fourth in the shot-put, for a total of eleven points.
